Update
The current intention is to hold an October event in the hope that the situation will be safe and clear to host a large gathering. We will reassess the situation and make a final determination probably no later than six weeks prior to the event. Any cancellations between now and then will receive a full refund.
Update
The (likely-to-be-cancelled) event is full. We are accepting no more registrations. And in light of circumstances, we will unfortunately not be able to hold a wait list at this time. To receive updates from L/L about gatherings and other news, subscribe to the Gatherings Newsletter.
Final Update
Due to pandemic conditions, we had to cancel the in-person event. However, in collaboration with our Asheville friend, we are experimenting with L/L’s first ever online gathering. Registration for this event is currently closed, but if our efforts prove successful, L/L can explore future online gatherings.
¶An L/L Research - Asheville Law of One Study Group Event
L/L Research and The Asheville Law of One Study Group are happy to announce the 2020 Coming Home to a New Earth Gathering! Celebrating only its third birthday, this event has already become a container for transformation, awakening, and community of the open heart.
As before, our focus for the gathering will be upon consciously shifting into fourth density through sharing practices, discussions, and connections for the development of mind, body, and spirit. Earth is transitioning. Our society is transitioning. And many recognize they are here on Earth precisely for the purpose of supporting this transition. Through this workshop we hope simply to help further awaken and quietly strengthen this incarnational service within ourselves.
Last year’s experiment of extending the gathering by a day was a smashing success, so we will again hold the space for three days (Thur evening - Sun evening) with a cap of 55 people.
This also marks our third year of seamless and mutually joyful collaboration with our Asheville friends (so much so that L/L is opening an office in Asheville!).
-
Begins: Thursday, Oct 8, at 5:00 PM EST
-
Ends: Sunday, Oct 11, with an evening dinner.
¶Where
Flat Rock, North Carolina (about 30 minutes southeast of Asheville) at the gorgeous “Sanctuary in the Pines” at Highland Lake Cove retreat center.
¶Format
This retreat will employ Open Space Technology (OST), which is an approach to event organization where participants co-create the content, the value, the culture, and the leadership that maximizes potential for positive experience. In an Open Space gathering, the agenda is not predetermined (though in our case, we will have several pre-planned experiences on the schedule). On the first evening of the event, we will introduce OST and how it works, facilitating the group in co-creating the agenda that will make up the bulk of the sessions or content for the weekend.
And, if you should feel so moved (we hope you are!), please come prepared with something you would like to share with the group, whether a presentation, an activity, a discussion topic, or anything that may engage others in questions, explorations, and sharings in the spirit of the open heart.
¶Schedule
-
Several whole-group events will be built into the schedule:
- Thursday: Round Robin Opening Ceremony at 5:00pm in the Sanctuary with dinner at 6:00pm
- Friday and Saturday: TBD
- Sunday: Closing Ceremony in the Sanctuary at 4:00pm’ish
-
Meal times Friday-Sunday:
- Breakfast: 8:00am
- Lunch: 1:00pm
- Dinner: 6:00pm
The schedule for Friday-Sunday will otherwise be determined by the group itself each day’s morning.
¶Cost
The cost, $277 per person, includes your registration for the three-day workshop along with ten nutrition-packed super delicious meals: dinner Thursday; breakfast, lunch, and dinner Friday - Sunday.
If you would love to attend but would be prohibited by financial limitation, we have a limited number of scholarships available. Please contact us to ask!
And if you are interested in contributing toward scholarships (very helpful that is), we have a $344 registration rate.
¶Meals
Highland Lake Cove will cater all meals. They can fully accommodate vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free dietary needs. Please select your dietary needs and restrictions on the menu or view the sample menu.

Please note: You are responsible for booking your housing. Only book after your registration has been received and confirmed by L/L Research.
If you would prefer to stay at a hotel off-site, then search for hotels in or near Flat Rock, NC.
