I would like to talk to you this afternoon about the Law of One, which came out of our contact, with a group of entities known in Earth’s history as Ra. I will be sharing a lot of information on various topics of a metaphysical nature. It is not likely that all of the information will be helpful to everyone. So please take those ideas which have meaning to you, use them as you will, and leave behind any that do not. Because there are so many topics I will stop in four or five places in this talk to ask if you have questions about the section just completed. That should give us a better chance of getting to everyone’s questions before you forget them.

So to begin, I would like to give you some background information on L/L Research, and the three people who were in the Ra contact: Don Elkins, Carla Rueckert, and myself.

In 1947 Don Elkins was a 17 year old senior, at Male High School here in Louisville. He was also taking flying lessons from Capt. Tom Mantell, a member of the Kentucky Air National Guard, who operated a flying school at Bowman Field. On the afternoon of January 7, 1947 Capt. Mantell and three wingmen, were each flying P-51 Mustangs, a WWII fighter plane, from Marietta, Ga. to Standiford Field here in Louisville.

That morning the Kentucky Highway Patrol had received dozens of telephone calls, from people in the area of Mayfield, KY, to report the presence of an Unidentified Flying Object, that was moving in a south westerly direction. The Highway Patrol eventually called the control tower at Godman Field, Ft. Knox, to ask if they had any planes available, to check out this report of a UFO. So Godman Tower radioed Capt. Mantell to ask if he could plot an intercept course, and see what this object was. One of his wingmen was low on fuel, so he continued on to Standiford Field, while Capt. Mantell and the other two wingmen headed toward the UFO’s co-ordinates.

In about half an hour Capt. Mantell radioed the tower at Godman Field, that he had the UFO in sight, and that it appeared to be about 300 ft. in diameter, and looked like an inverted ice cream cone, with the bottom being circular and the top being pointed. He said that he would try to get a closer look. As he drew closer, he radioed the tower that there were people in the craft, that he could see through the port holes. Then the UFO shot straight up at a rapid rate of speed, and Capt. Mantell said that he was going to give chase.

His two wingmen dropped out of the chase at 18,000 ft., but Capt. Mantell continued on through 20,000 ft., and then passed out because his plane did not have oxygen, and his brain suffered hypoxia, a lack of oxygen. His plane crashed close to the Kentucky/Tennessee border, and Capt. Mantell was killed in the crash. This UFO sighting did two things: One, it caused the American public to begin to take UFO reports seriously, now that a member of the U.S. military had been killed while chasing a UFO. And the second thing that it did, was to get Don Elkins interested in investigating UFOs.

After high school, Don received a bachelor’s, and then a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, from the University of Louisville, and began to work as a physics professor at the U of L in 1955. In his personal time he conducted hundreds of hypnotic regressions, taking people back to lives previous to their current lives, to prove to himself that the concept of reincarnation was valid.

In 1962 a fellow named Hal Price was transferred from the Ford Motor Company in Detroit, to the Ford assembly plant on Chamberlain Lane here in Louisville. While in Detroit Mr. Price had been in a meditation group, that was headed by a fellow named Walt Rogers, who had experienced a face-to-face encounter with UFO occupants. As is frequently the case after such encounters, he had a lingering telepathic contact with the Ufonauts. This telepathic contact inspired him to form a meditation group, that received information of a spiritual nature. They also received information on how to start such a meditation group, without all the fuss and bother of being abducted.

Mr. Price shared this information with Don, so Don decided to try an experiment, with a dozen of his students from his Introduction to Physics class at U of L. One of the students asked if he could bring his girlfriend to the meditations. Her name was Carla Rueckert, and Don said yes. The meditation group met once or twice a week in the evenings and meditated. Don didn’t tell them what to expect, because he was conducting a scientific experiment. He wanted to see if channeling would happen on its own without anybody expecting it to happen.

After a couple of months, many of the students began feeling their mouths open and shut, feel their hearts beat faster, feel their breathing speed up and other signs of what later came to be called “conditioning”. This conditioning was a sign that a contact was being made, and the person feeling it would be able to establish the contact, if they simply starting saying the words that they were aware of in their minds. Walt Rogers invalidated the scientific nature of the experiment when came to Louisville from Detroit and visited the group. He channeled from his contact, Hatonn, that all they needed to do was speak the words given to them, and more would be given.

Carla enjoyed the meditation group, but she didn’t learn to channel for another twelve years. However, she did join Don in his work in 1968, and together they formed L/L Research, which stands for Love and Light Research. In 1974, after the last of the channels from the original group moved out of town, only Don was left as a channel, so at that time he taught Carla how to channel and a book, Voices of the Confederation, came out of those sessions. Again, the basic messages concerned the value of meditation, and how meditation could help the seeker of truth evolve in mind, body, and spirit. In 1976 Don and Carla wrote Secrets of the UFO, which was a summary of Don’s 25 years of investigating the UFO phenomenon up to that time.

In 1977 I was living in a log cabin in the woods of central Kentucky, in the days of the back-to-the-land movement. On the evening of May 30, 1977 I was listening to my battery powered radio. I was tuned into WKQQ Radio from Lexington, KY, and they were interviewing Don Elkins and Carla Rueckert with the topic being UFOs. I was totally intrigued by what they had to say, and I wanted to meet them. But that took about a year before I met some folks who lived on the other side of Marion County, where I was living, who knew Don and Carla. They took me to meet them, and for the next year I drove to Louisville every Sunday night, to attend their channelling meditations that they held, in their apartment on Douglas Blvd.

In the summer of 1980, I helped them move to a new location in Jeffersontown, just about two miles up the road here on Watterson Trail, and on December 23, 1980 I moved in with them. We thought that perhaps a revision of Secrets of the UFO would be our first work together. However, three weeks later, on January 15, 1981, while Carla was teaching another student how to channel, the Ra contact began. All of Carla’s and Don’s previous channeling was done consciously—they were aware that they were channeling, but they could have stopped it at any time if they had wanted to.

But the Ra contact was very different. Carla would go into a trance, and leave her body by a means which we never understood. It seemed to be a pre-incarnative gift. Then those of Ra would use it from a distance, shall we say, from the inner planes of Earth, to respond to Don’s questions. So neither Carla nor Ra inhabited her body, but Ra used it as an instrument, like a telephone. Don referred to this kind of contact as a “tuned, telepathic trance.”

In order to preserve our free will, Ra did not give any information that was not in direct response to our questions. It was felt that previous extraterrestrial contacts had abridged the free will of those receiving them, by giving information that was not understood and which in some cases had dire results. We dedicated one particular bedroom of the house to the sessions with Ra. There was a bed in the middle of the room on which Carla would lie, and two chairs in which Don and I would sit. One of our first questions to Ra was:

What is the proper use of this instrument? What should we do to maximize her ability and her comfort? Ra responded:

I am Ra. We are pleased that you asked this question, for it is not our understanding that we have the right to share our perceptions on any subject but philosophy, without direct question. However, this mind/body/spirit is not being correctly used, and therefore is experiencing unnecessary distortions of the body, in the area of fatigue.

Then Ra gave us a ritual to use for sessions with them called the Circle of One. We used this ritual to purify the place of working, and also to provide protection for Carla, who served as the instrument in all of these sessions. These are the directions that Ra gave us for this ritual:

The vibrations may well be purified by a simple turning to the Circle of One, and the verbal vibration while doing so of the following dialogue:

Question: “What is the Law?” Answer: “The Law is One.” Question: “Why are we here?” Answer: “We seek the Law of One.” Question: “Why do we seek Ra?” Answer: “Ra is an humble messenger of the Law of One.”

Both together: “Rejoice then, and purify this place in the Law of One. Let no thought-form enter the circle we have walked about this instrument, for the Law is One.”

After giving us this ritual then Ra continued:

The instrument at this time should be in trance. The proper alignment is the head pointed twenty degrees north-by-northeast. This is the direction from which the newer, or New Age distortions of love/light, which are less distorted, are emanating from, and this instrument will find comfort therein. This is a sensitive instrument, by which we mean the distortions which enter her mind/body/spirit complex, come from any of her senses. Thus, it is well to do the following:

Place at the entity’s head a virgin chalice of water. (We had a small table at the head of the bed for all of these items that Ra mentions.)

To the center, the book most closely aligned with the instrument’s mental distortions, which are allied most closely with the Law of One, that being the Bible that she touches most frequently.

To the other side of the Bible, a small amount of cense, or incense, in a virgin censer.

To the rear of the book symbolizing One, opened to the Gospel of John, Chapter One, a white candle.

The instrument would be strengthened by the wearing of a white robe. The instrument shall be covered and prone, the eyes covered.

The Circle of One ritual and the various accoutrements gave Carla a feeling of inner support as she had been a member of her church altar guild since childhood and took great pride and comfort in dressing the altar with just such items. For Don and me the ritual and accoutrement were signals to both our conscious and subconscious minds that a session with Ra was about to occur so that we could set our intentions to offer the best of our mental, emotional, and spiritual energies to this work.

Just a side note here about trance contacts. Trance allows for the use of precisely correct words in each communication. Each of the three of us had very good vocabularies, but there were about 200 words that Ra used in the 106 sessions that we had with them, that we had to look up in a dictionary for their meanings. Here are just three examples:

oriflamme
a principle or ideal that serves as a rallying point in a struggle.
puissance
great power or influence
caparisoned
worn as an ornamental covering

Ra also used simple words in combinations, to try to make the concept that they were discussing more accurate. For example:

Mind/body/spirit complex
This is a person, a normal human being. We are complex beings made up of a mind, a body, and a spirit.
Social/memory complex
Is a society which has chosen to follow the path of spiritual seeking as a totally unified group. A social memory complex has all the memories, of all the lives, of everyone in the social memory complex to call upon, for any decisions as to how to proceed in service to others. It is a vast library of information. The Akashic Records, or Hall of Records, is the potential social memory complex of Earth. The Ra social memory complex, for example, is composed of 6.5 million entities. In our contact with those of Ra we spoke to one individualized portion of the Ra social memory complex which was in effect the same as speaking to the entire 6.5 million entities which comprised it.
Teach/learner
a teacher who also learns through its teachings.
Learn/teacher
a student who learns but also teaches the teacher as it learns its lessons.
Distortion
is a word that Ra uses often and is any movement away from the total unity of the One Creator. Therefore, all of the creation is a distortion or mutation of unity.
An other-self
Every other person on the planet is your other-self. And you are their other-self. This term emphasizes the unity of all creation. We are all part of the One Creator, and the One Creator exists within each of us and within all portions of the infinite creation.
Time/space
is the spirit world, and space/time is our third-density material world.

Right now I would like to share with you a minute or two of what the Ra contact sounded like. It was definitely unique. Each syllable was precisely enunciated, and the pace was very slow and rhythmic.

When we asked Ra to state the Law of One, this was their reply:

In truth there is no right or wrong. There is no polarity, for all will be, as you would say, reconciled at some point in your dance through the mind/body/spirit complex, which you amuse yourself by distorting, in various ways at this time. This distortion is not in any case necessary. It is chosen by each of you, as an alternative to understanding the complete unity of thought, which binds all things. You are not speaking of similar or somewhat like entities or things. You are every thing, every being, every emotion, every event, every situation. You are unity. You are infinity. You are love/light, light/love. You are. This is the Law of One.

One interesting concept that Ra discussed, seems to apply to many people within the New Age movement, who have never really felt at home on planet Earth. This is the concept of the Wanderer or Star Seed. They are kind of like an extraterrestrial Peace Corps on Earth.

You spoke of Wanderers. Who are Wanderers? Where do they come from

I am Ra. Imagine, if you will, the sands of your shores. As countless as the grains of sand are the sources of intelligent infinity. When a social memory complex has achieved its complete understanding of its desire, it may conclude that its desire is service to others, with the distortion towards reaching their hands, figuratively, to any entities who call for aid. You may call them the Brothers and Sisters of Sorrow, and they move towards this calling of sorrow. These entities are from all reaches of the infinite creation, and are bound together by the desire to serve in this distortion.

Now these wanderers go through the same forgetting process, that everyone else on Earth goes through as they incarnate. Like everyone else on Earth, each is hopeful of remembering the pre-incarnative choices that brought it to Earth, in order that its mission of service might be fulfilled.

Ra goes into some detail in describing how the One Creator created the infinite creation. But right now, I would like to describe to you the reason for the creation. Apparently, the Creator made all of the infinite creation because It wanted to know, and to experience more of Itself. So it made the creation of all of the galaxies, star systems, planets and entities, such as we are, and gave free will to all of them. As we proceed through the densities of light, on our return to the One Creator, our freely chosen experiences produce more ways in which the Creator can know Itself, and at the same time we come to know ourselves as the One Infinite Creator. The Creator would not be able to have such an infinite variety of qualities and experiences, without each entity within the creation, having the free will to live the incarnations as they choose. No two entities are the same, so also are the experiences of each of us unique. So each of us has a unique contribution to make to the One Creator, as we pursue our spiritual journey and live our lives.

Those of Ra belong to a Group of social memory complexes called the Confederation of Planets in the Service of the One Infinite Creator. You could liken this Confederation as to being the headquarters of the extraterrestrial Peace Corps, the Wanderers who come from higher densities to be of service to Earth. There are many Confederations in the universe, and here Ra talks about the one to which they belong.

Do any of the UFOs that are presently reported come from other planets here at this time, or do you have this knowledge?

I am Ra. I am one of the members of the Confederation of Planets in the Service of the Infinite Creator. There are approximately fifty-three civilizations, comprising approximately five hundred planetary consciousness complexes in this Confederation. This Confederation contains those from your own planet, who have attained dimensions beyond your third. It contains planetary entities from within your solar system, and it contains planetary entities from other galaxies. It is a true Confederation in that its members are not alike, but allied in service according to the Law of One.

We also discovered that our third-density illusion, that we live in now, has the single purpose of providing each of us with a choice. The choice is whether to continue our evolution past this third density in the positive polarity, or in the negative polarity. The positive polarity is radiant and giving of service to others. The negative path is magnetic, and seeks to control others, and take their power for personal use. Both paths are viable for the pursuit of union with the One Creator, but at some point the negative path must be abandoned when it becomes necessary, not only to see all entities as the Creator, but also necessary to see all others as the self, for all of us are truly one.

Ra said that the One Creator made a path for us to travel back into union with It, and has called this path the octave of densities or dimensions of light.

The first density begins in timelessness and is composed of earth, wind, fire and water, and contains simple consciousness. In this density fire and wind teach earth and water to be formed and become viable to produce life. The simple consciousness of earth, wind, fire, and water is the beginning of the formation of the mind.

The second density is composed of plants and animals, which are developing the simple consciousness of the first density into self-consciousness, and it is with plants and animals that the first turning towards the light begins. In this density we have the beginning formation of the body.

The third density, our density, is the first density with the mind, the body, and the spirit complexes all activated, and here we make the choice of whether to continue our journey of seeking the One Creator, in the sense of service-to-others, or in service-to-self, the positive and negative paths.

The fourth density is the density of love and understanding. In the fourth density consciousness is shared as a group consciousness and telepathy is the primary means of communication. This is where we are headed now.

The fifth density is the density of light or wisdom. In the fifth density the light of Truth clearly reveals the nature of the process of evolution, and each positive seeker of truth is able to see itself and all other selves as the One Creator.

The sixth density is the density of unity or the balance between the love from the fourth density and the wisdom of the fifth density. It is in this density that the negative polarity must be reversed, as all entities must be seen as the One Creator and as the self, for all is truly one.

The seventh density is the density of foreverness as entities here begin their journey back into unity with the One Creator.

The eighth density represents the total unity of all entities, and all of the creation with the One Creator, which forms what our physicists see as the black hole of timelessness. All of the experiences, of all of the entities, in the infinite creation are brought together here into the black hole, as means by which the Creator may know more of Itself, and the means by which each entity is able to know itself as the One Creator.

The black hole of this octave of densities then goes through a timeless state, until it once again gives birth to the next octave of densities, and the harvest of experience of the previous octave, creates the beginning of the next octave. This is apparently an endless process that has been going on for eternity, and will continue eternally.

The energy centers, or chakras, within the human body, have a basic correlation with the densities of light, our path back to the One Creator, in that both the densities of light, and the energy centers, describe the nature of the spiritual journey into unity for the seeker of truth.

The red-ray energy center is the foundation center, and concerns survival and the sexual reproductive activity, and is located within the groin area.

The orange-ray energy center concerns the concept of the individual self in relation to other individual selves, on a one-to-one basis, and is located in the area of the stomach.

The yellow-ray energy center, concerns the concept of the self in relation to groups of other selves like the family, the work place, clubs, teams, etc., and is located in the solar plexus.

The green-ray energy center is concerned with how the self may generate unconditional love for all other selves everywhere, with no expectation of return, and is located in the heart region.

The blue-ray energy center concerns free and honest communication and inspiration, to all those about one, and is located in the throat area. This is the center of wisdom.

The indigo-ray energy center concerns the nature of one’s being, in the magical sense; that is, the ability to create changes in consciousness at will, and is located at the brow.

The violet-ray energy center, reflects the overall balance of each of the lower energy centers, and is the mark or register or readout of the seeker of truth. It is located at the crown of the head.

As each of the lower energy centers is unblocked, the cosmic energy of the universe is free to move further and further up the energy centers, until it meets the intelligent infinity of the Creator, which resides within the indigo-ray energy and violet-ray energy centers. This is also known as the rising of the kundalini. When the meeting place of these two energies, is within the indigo-ray energy center, then the seeker of truth will experience the so-called enlightenment experience, nirvana, or the sacrament of the fully experienced presence of the One Infinite Creator.

Ra also describes how planets go through the process of evolution, and how our Earth is now at the end of the Master Cycle of third density, and has entered the fourth-density vibrations.

What is the length, in our years, of one of these cycles currently?

I am Ra: One major cycle is approximately 25,000 of your years. There are three cycles of this nature, during which those who have progressed may be harvested at the end of three major cycles. That is, approximately between 75 and 76,000 of your years. All are harvested regardless of their progress, for during that time the planet itself, has moved through the useful part of that dimension, and begins to cease being useful for the lower levels of vibration within that density.

However, there was one planet in our solar system, that was unable to move into the fourth-density experience, because its human population destroyed the planet by the use of nuclear weapons in warfare. The name most often used to describe this planet is Maldek. The remains of Maldek are said to be the asteroid belt, that is located between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter. Here Ra talks about the similarities between Maldek and Earth.

At one time/space, in what is your past, there was a population of third-density beings upon a planet, which dwelt within your solar system. These entities, destroying their planetary sphere, thus were forced to find room for themselves upon this third density, which was the only one in your solar system at their time/space present, which was hospitable, and capable of offering the lessons necessary, to decrease their mind/body/spirit distortions, with respect to the Law of One.

You said yesterday that Maldek was destroyed due to warfare. If Maldek hadn’t destroyed itself due to warfare, would it have become a planet that evolved with self-service, and would the entities have increased in density, and gone on to, say, the fourth and fifth densities in the negative sense, or the sense of self-service?

I am Ra. The planetary social complex, Maldek, had in common with your own sphere, the situation of a mixture of energy direction. Thus it, though unknown, would most probably have been a mixed harvest — a few moving to positive fourth density in service to others, a few moving towards fourth density in service to self, the great majority repeating third density.

Mars is yet another planet in our solar system, that has suffered a great deal from warfare amongst its human population.

The people that we now have— the first people like us on Earth— where did they come from? How did they evolve?

I am Ra. You speak of third-density experience. The first of those to come here were brought from another planet in your solar system called by you the Red Planet, Mars. This planet’s environment became inhospitable to third-density beings. The first entities, therefore, were of this race, as you may call it, manipulated somewhat by those who were guardians at that time.

Then I’m assuming what you’re saying, is that the guardians transferred the race here after the race had died from the physical, as we know it, on Mars. Is that correct?

I am Ra. This is correct.

The guardians obviously were acting with an understanding of the Law of One in doing this. Can you explain the application of the Law of One in this process?

I am Ra. The Law of One was named by these guardians, as the bringing of the wisdom of the guardians in contact with the entities from the Red Planet, thus melding the social memory complex of the guardian race and the Red Planet race. It, however, took an increasing amount of distortion into the application of the Law of One, from the viewpoint of other guardians, and it is from this beginning action, that the quarantine of this planet was instituted, for it was felt that the free will of those of the Red Planet had been abridged.

Ra speaks of a body of Guardians for our solar system, that is located within the rings of the planet Saturn, and which enforces this quarantine of Earth. It is known as the Council of Saturn or The Nine, and it oversees the interaction of the planets of this solar system, with what we would call extraterrestrial entities in relation to this quarantine. This is what Ra has to say about this council:

The members of the Council are representatives from the Confederation, and from those vibratory levels of your inner planes, bearing responsibility for your third density.

In number, the Council that sits in constant session is nine. That is the Session Council. To back up this Council, there are twenty-four entities which offer their services as requested. These entities faithfully watch, and have been called the Guardians.

The Council operates by means of, what you would call, telepathic contact with the oneness, or unity of the nine, the distortions blending harmoniously, so that the Law of One prevails with ease. When a need for thought is present, the Council retains the distortion-complex of this need, balancing it as described, and then recommends what it considers as appropriate action. This includes: One, the duty of admitting social memory complexes to the Confederation; Two, offering aid to those who are unsure how to aid the social memory complex requesting aid, in a way consonant with both the call, the Law, and the number of those calling, (that is to say, sometimes the resistance of the call); Three, internal questions in the Council are determined.

These are the prominent duties of the Council. They are, if in any doubt, able to contact the twenty-four who then offer their thinking to the Council. The Council then may reconsider any question.

During the Ra contact we discovered that there are both positively oriented, and negatively oriented extraterrestrial entities, who seek to interact with any third-density planet like Earth. Positively oriented extraterrestrials seek to be of service, as they are called by the entities such as we are here on Earth. We as conscious spiritual seekers of truth, call for their service as we seek to know the One Creator, and as we have problems with each other that we try our best to resolve, but are unable to do so.

The negatively oriented, or service-to-self extraterrestrials call themselves to conquest, and seek to control positive entities who create spiritual power in their seeking, so that the negative entities may gain that power. The Council of Saturn limits the negative extraterrestrials’ access to Earth, by the quarantine that was set up 75,000 years ago, when the positive entities of Yahweh genetically interfered with the Mars entities, that they transferred to Earth.

But the Council does not stop all negative entities from accessing Earth’s population. The Council feels that it is necessary for the free will of each consciously seeking person on Earth, to be exposed to both positive and negative information, and then to be able to decide between the positive and negative paths on their own. What the Council does is to insure that there is a balance between the positive and negative entities access to Earth.

For example, if a spiritually oriented group channels information of a positive nature, to be of service to those who want such information, negatively oriented entities have the right to attempt to lure the positive channel away, from total positivity. A negative entity can trick a positive channel into thinking, that they are the same positive entity that the channel began channeling, and then begin slowly to move the channel away from pure positivity, by giving information that moves the focus of the channel, away from channeling the purely spiritual principles of the evolution of mind, body, and spirit.

When the focus of the channeling then is put on transient things like fear and doom prophecy, the puffing up of the pride of the channel, or the organization in political or financial ways, and this transient information becomes more important than spiritual information, this is the same as if you moved the dial on your radio away from the station that you want, and that you started with.

To avoid being fooled by negative trickery, and to keep your positive channel, it is necessary not only to tune yourself to the highest and best within you, each time that you channel, but it is also necessary to challenge any contact that wishes to speak through you, each time that you channel, in that spiritual quality that is at the heart of your being, that quality that you live for and, if necessary, would gladly die for. Such a quality could be the service-to-others polarity, Jesus the Christ, the Christ consciousness, any of the saints that have meaning to you, or any spiritual quality that you consider the foundation stone of your being. It is well to offer the challenge three times before opening yourself to contact.

The extraterrestrial channeling phenomenon began in the United States in 1950s, and from that time to the present, there is a long line of channels and groups, that have had their positive information polluted with negatively oriented information, because they did not know that such a challenge was necessary, each time that a channel accepts a contact.

Ra is best known in Earth’s history for their contact with the Egyptians. However, the Egyptians greatly distorted Ra’s teaching of the Law of One, causing Ra’s stay with them to be short, as they found it necessary to remove themselves to the inner planes of the Earth, to consider how to balance the distortions of the Law of One, for which they felt responsible.

Could you tell us something of your historical background, your earlier times on this planet, that you spoke of before, and contact with earlier races on this planet?

I am Ra. We are those of the Confederation who, eleven thousand of your years ago, came to two of your planetary cultures, which were at that time closely in touch with the creation of the One Creator. It was our naïve belief that we could teach/learn by direct contact, and the free will distortions of individuals were in no danger, we thought, of being disturbed, as these cultures were already closely aligned, with an all-embracing belief in the live-ness, or consciousness of all.

We came and were welcomed by the peoples whom we wished to serve. We attempted to aid them in technical ways, having to do with the healing of mind/body/spirit complex distortions, through the use of the crystal, appropriate to the distortion, placed within a certain appropriate series of ratios of time/space material. Thus were the pyramids created.

We found that the technology was reserved largely for those with the effectual mind/body distortion of power. This was not intended by the Law of One. We left your peoples. The group that was to work with those in the area of South America, as you call that portion of your sphere, gave up not so easily. They returned. We did not. However, we have never left your vibration, due to our responsibility for the changes in consciousness we had first caused, and then found distorted in ways not relegated to the Law of One. We attempted to contact the rulers of the land to which we had come, that land which you call Egypt, or in some areas, the Holy Land.

So Ra made another attempt about 3,300 years ago to contact the Egyptians telepathically this time through the pharaoh known as Akhenaton. This contact with the Egyptians was more successful but also very short-lived. Here Ra speaks about that contact:

In the Eighteenth Dynasty, as it is known in your records of space/time distortions, we were able to contact a pharaoh, as you would call him. The man was small in life-experience on your plane and was a… what this instrument would call, Wanderer. Thus, this mind/body/spirit complex received our communication distortions, and was able to blend his distortions with our own. This young entity had been given a vibratory complex of sound (or name) which vibrated in honor of a prosperous god, as this instrument would call “Amun.” The entity decided that this name, being in honor of one among many gods, was not acceptable for inclusion in his vibratory sound complex.

Thus, he changed his name to one which honored the sun disc. This distortion, called “Aten,” was a close distortion to our reality, as we understand our own nature, of mind/body/spirit complex distortion. However, it does not come totally into alignment with the intended teach/learning which was sent. This entity, Akhenaten, became convinced that the vibration of One was the true spiritual vibration, and thus decreed the Law of One.

However, this entity’s beliefs were accepted by very few. His priests gave lip service only, without the spiritual distortion towards seeking. The peoples continued in their beliefs. When this entity was no longer in this density, again the polarized beliefs in the many gods came into their own, and continued so until the one known as Muhammad, delivered the peoples into a more intelligible distortion of mind/body/spirit relationships.

Lemuria is a civilization which is almost as well known as Atlantis, but which thrived and then was destroyed, long before Atlantis came into being.

I was wondering about the advent of the civilizations called Atlantis and Lemuria, the way these civilizations occurred, and where did they come from?

I am Ra. The civilizations of Atlantis and Lemuria were not one but two. Let us look first at the Mu entities.

They were beings of a somewhat primitive nature, but those who had very advanced spiritual distortions. The civilization was part of this cycle, experienced early within the cycle, at a time of approximately 53,000 of your years ago. It was an helpful and harmless place which was washed beneath the ocean, during a readjustment of your sphere’s tectonic plates, through no action of their own. They sent out those who survived and reached many places in what you call Russia, North America, and South America.

The Indians for whom you have come to feel some sympathy, in your social complex distortions, are the descendants of these entities. Like the other incarnates of this cycle, they came from elsewhere. However, these particular entities were largely drawn from a second-density planet, which had some difficulty, due to the age of its sun, in achieving third-density life conditions. This planet was from the galaxy Deneb.

Atlantis came after the Lemurian civilization, and is probably the best known early civilization on Earth, and is also known for meeting its end because of warfare using nuclear and crystal weapons. Ra had this to say about the Atlantean culture.

The Atlantean race was a very conglomerate social complex, which began to form approximately 31,000 years in the past of your space/time continuum. It was a slow growing and very agrarian society, until approximately 15,000 of your years ago. It reached quickly a high technological understanding, which caused it to be able to use intelligent infinity in a less informative manner. We may add that they used intelligent energy as well, manipulating greatly the natural influxes of the indigo, or pineal ray, from divine or infinite energy. Thus, they were able to create life forms. This they began to do, instead of healing and perfecting their own mind/body/spirit complexes, turning their distortions towards what you may call the negative.

Approximately eleven thousand of your years ago the first of the, what you call wars, caused approximately forty percent of this population to leave the density, by means of disintegration of the body. The second and most devastating of the conflicts occurred approximately 10,000 years ago in your illusion. This created an earth-changing configuration, and the large part of Atlantis was no more, having been inundated. Three of the positively oriented of the Atlantean groups left this geographical locus before that devastation, placing themselves in the mountain areas of what you call Tibet, what you call Peru, and what you call Turkey.

Ra said that the harvest of souls on planet Earth is taking place now. There is a small harvest of those souls who have chosen the negative path, of service to self, and a larger harvest of those souls who have chosen the positive path of service to others. But most of this planet’s population, will once again need to repeat the third-density lessons, on another planet which is just beginning its 75,000 year Master Cycle of the third density. Ra said that the harvest began nearly 50 years ago, and could take a total of 100-700 years, depending on the free will choices of the population of Earth. As I mentioned before those entities who graduate to the fourth density, will form what is called a social memory complex. Here Don is asking Ra about this process:

At what stage does a planet achieve social memory?

I am Ra. A social complex becomes a social memory complex when its entire group of entities are of one orientation or seeking. The group memory lost to the individuals in the roots of the tree of mind, then becomes known to the social complex, thus creating a social memory complex. The advantages of this complex, are the relative lack of distortion in understanding the social beingness, and the relative lack of distortion in pursuing the direction of seeking, for all understandings are available to the entities of the society.

What is the position of this planet with respect to progression of the cycle at this time?

I am Ra. This sphere is at this time in fourth-dimension vibration. Its material is quite confused, due to the society memory complexes embedded in its consciousness. It has not made an easy transition to the vibrations which beckon. Therefore, it will be fetched with some inconvenience.

Our being “fetched with some inconvenience,” very likely involves a good deal of work on the part of the Confederation, Wanderers, and light workers all over the planet, who are making every effort to bring into everyday life the Prayer of St. Francis:

Lord, make us instruments of thy peace. Where there is hatred let us sow love, Where there is injury, pardon. Where there is doubt, faith. Where there is despair, hope. Where there is darkness, light. Where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that we may seek not so much to be consoled, but to console. To be understood, as to understand, To be loved, as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned. And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen.
