Trisha Bean
Event Manager
Trisha Bean was born in 1989 in L/L Research’s hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. Though raised in an extremely loving and tightknit Catholic family, she found early on that she lacked the same faith and experiential framework she saw in those around her. After a few traumatic years in the Catholic school system, Trisha swore off religion and spirituality altogether.
Spending much of her earlier years all the way through college without an obvious incarnational compass, Trisha inwardly struggled, particularly with self-acceptance. It was only until an overwhelming challenge with an unexpected and fast-moving debilitating physical illness that she awakened to the need for spiritual direction in her life. While she discovered truths in many fields of study, the teachings of oneness found in Native American belief systems and Taoism resonated the most deeply.
In 2011, Trisha met her future husband (L/L’s own Gary), and her journey with L/L Research took form. Soon into their relationship, Gary invited Trisha into his spiritual world by sharing the Law of One with her. While it held resonance, the full appreciation for its truths would develop in the years to come. But she loved the organization and the seekers associated with the Law of One and she began volunteering.
In 2013, Trisha graciously accepted an opportunity to help Jim and Carla with their household needs. This experience provided Trisha the means to uncover her true passion for cooking as an expression of love and nurturance, and she began volunteering in leading the food production for L/L Homecoming Gatherings. Several years and career moves later, in 2019 Trisha was offered an administrative position with L/L Research. It is here that she has found peace, inspiration, gratitude, and a fulfilling way to be of service to other seeker.
When not working, Trisha loves spending her free time cooking, reading, listening to podcasts, and caring for her family, including the furry Emma Lou and Cooper.
